Tired Conference Formula

Let’s be honest, they bring so many thoughts to mind.
Hotel chains, buffets, big rooms, long afternoons, the bar….

Sleeping Tories

So why can we generalise so easily?
We think it’s because they tend to follow the same old format.
They’ve become really predictable.

You want to create a big impact, fire people up event and yet the formula is really tired.

Hotel + Conference Agenda + Entertainment = Great Event ?

The environment needs to be inspiring, challenging and thought provoking.
We need to move away from thinking about this like a hotel or logistics agent would, as what you’re so often getting is:

Predictable = Safe = Uninspiring

In business it’s that extra bit that makes the difference, that extra mile.
And it’s calculated risks that take us forward.
So let’s have a conference that has some of those elements in it.

An Elsewhere Conference

The conference that everyone thinks they’re going to suddenly gets transported into WW2 with air raid sirens whirling, Pathe news footage interrupting the powerpoint slides and military police ordering you about (yep they’re real police officers – no actors here) –
and you’re off into some seriously great team building.

Bringing parts of your team together that don’t work closely together every day.

And now let’s do some work.

That’s an example of how we think you can shake things up a little and get the output from your conference that you’re looking for. The reason you wanted to bring everyone together in the first place….

And the logistics, food and venue is best in class anyway. That’s a given.
